**Position Summary**:
A Fire Fighting Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing, and testing fire suppression systems and equipment, ensuring they meet safety standards and regulations. This role requires knowledge of various fire protection systems, including sprinklers, alarms, extinguishers, and emergency exits, and demands a commitment to safety, compliance, and problem-solving.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Installation and Setup**:

- Install and set up fire protection systems, including fire alarms, sprinklers, extinguishers, and suppression systems.
- Conduct site assessments to determine the appropriate fire safety system for different environments.
- Ensure proper installation, configuration, and commissioning of fire safety equipment.
- **Maintenance and Inspection**:

- Regularly inspect, test, and maintain fire safety systems and equipment, including extinguishers, alarms, sprinklers, emergency lighting, and fire suppression systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair faulty or malfunctioning fire protection systems.
- Perform inspections to ensure compliance with local, state, and national fire safety codes and regulations.
- Update maintenance records and provide reports on any necessary repairs or replacements.
- **Compliance and Documentation**:

- Ensure all fire safety equipment complies with applicable regulations, standards, and codes.
- Maintain accurate documentation for all system installations, inspections, testing, and maintenance procedures.
- Assist with fire drills, emergency preparedness plans, and evacuation procedures.
- **Emergency Response**:

- Respond promptly to fire-related emergencies, ensuring systems are operational and safe.
- Assist with the operation of fire suppression systems during an emergency.
- Provide troubleshooting support during emergencies to ensure the effectiveness of fire safety equipment.
- **Training and Support**:

- Educate staff on fire safety protocols and proper use of fire protection systems.
- Provide training sessions on fire safety equipment maintenance, use, and emergency procedures.
- Collaborate with safety officers to develop and improve fire safety policies.
- **Continuous Improvement**:

- Stay up-to-date with the latest fire safety technologies, codes, and industry best practices.
- Suggest improvements to enhance the effectiveness and reliability of fire safety systems.
- Recommend upgrades or replacements for outdated or obsolete systems.

Pay: From ₹30,000.00 per month
