- D. Pharmacy / B. Pharmacy
- Post Graduation will be an added advantage

**EXPERIENCE**:

- 2 - 4 years (hospital experience preferred)

**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**:
**Surgical Purchase -Patient Ward.**
- All surgical items required for the hospital **(**Approx 500 items per month)
- Searching the market for newly indented items
- Negotiation, making comparative for new surgical items indented
- Exploring the market to know about the rates & the schemes for the surgical items/instruments/implants supplied
- Order to be placed & ensured that the material is received in time
- Weekly follow up done for the pending surgical orders

**Printing Job Purchases **- same process as above for printing jobsFollowing items will be considered while placing the orders - Paper quality, paper size, colour / black white printing, single or both side printing

**Work orders & Biomedical repairs**
- Do all assigned Jobs given by the Purchase Manager
- Accept all requisitions from the Maintenance & Biomedical for renovation, repair, reconstructions and spares of equipments
- Understand the requisition coordinate & discuss with the dept & the vendor to ensure that the work is completed with technically correct
- Take competitive rates for the jobs from 3 suppliers, make comparative statement
- Negotiate the cost, completion of job & payment terms confirmed with vendors & put up for perusal of the Purchase manager for further negotiations
- Order to be placed & ensured that the job is completed in time
- Weekly follow up done for pending work orders
- Solve issues related to the pending bills by coordinating with the central stores
- Any other work/responsibility assigned by the HOD/Management in the course ofbusiness/work whether within the same unit/dept or any other unit/dept from time to time
