**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware and software (routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, etc.)
- Monitor network performance and ensure system availability and reliability.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and other network and system problems.
- Administer firewalls, manage security systems, and implement network security protocols.
- Perform regular backup operations and implement appropriate processes for data protection, disaster recovery, and failover procedures.
- Maintain and support remote access solutions, including VPN.
- Conduct regular system audits and maintain documentation of network configurations, systems, and procedures.
- Support and collaborate with help desk and IT support teams for issue escalation and resolution.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and security threats.

**Required Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience as a Network Administrator or in a similar role (2-5+ years preferred).
- Strong knowledge of networking technologies and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, etc.)
- Hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, or similar networking equipment.
- Familiarity with firewall management and network security protocols.
- Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios, PRTG).
- Proficiency in Windows Server and/or Linux systems.
- Understanding of virtual environments (VMware, Hyper-V).
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
- Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
