**For the post of Programme Coordinator**

**Education**:

- A Master Degree in any of the fields related to urban planning & related laws, environment sustainability, law, public policy, governance, and advocacy

Required skills
- Full proficiency in English and working proficiency in Marathi is a must.
- Familiarity with the area/jurisdiction of Greater Mumbai is a must.

Required work experience
- Desirable: 1-2 years of work experience in any of the fields mentioned above

Job responsibilities:
1. Collate relevant data and analyze the same along with supportive inputs like news reports, layouts, maps, etc in keeping with the municipal issues related to planning & civic issues within the jurisdiction of Greater Mumbai

2. Assist, when needed, in the legal casework related to the organization’s ongoing litigations and advocacy campaigns.

3. Prepare concept note & funding proposals for projects relevant to the organization’s programs to raise funds, submit progress reports

4. Prepare presentations and perform project-related work

5. Perform activities and tasks assigned from time to time including networking with the organization’s associates or other NGOs

6. Attend Seminars, Conferences, that are relevant to the organization’s objectives and activities

7. Record the minutes of all the meetings, in-house as well as external, follow-up of events, correspondence, coordination, and news reports

8. Prepare updates for the NAGAR website and keep the social media handle active by focussing on topical issues and creating audience engagement

9. Collaborate with other stakeholder organizations

It is a full-time job 5 days a week (i.e. from Monday to Friday) from 10.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m.

Gross salary: Rs. 30,000/- per month.

**Salary**: ₹30,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

- Colaba, Mumbai, Mumbai - 400001, Maharashtra: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:
