**Job Description: Instrumental Music Teacher**

**Position Overview**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement a comprehensive curriculum for instrumental music education, catering to students of varying skill levels and interests.
- Teach students the fundamentals of playing a specific instrument (e.g., piano, guitar, violin, flute) and guide them in developing their technical skills, musical interpretation, and performance techniques.
- Plan and deliver engaging and interactive lessons that cover music theory, sight-reading, ear training, ensemble playing, and other relevant areas.
- Demonstrate proper playing techniques, posture, and musical expression to students, both individually and in group settings.
- Provide constructive feedback and guidance to students, fostering their growth and progress as musicians.
- Organize and lead rehearsals, ensemble groups, and performances to enhance students' ensemble skills and teamwork.
- Prepare students for music examinations, competitions, and performances, ensuring they are adequately prepared and confident in their abilities.
- Assess and evaluate student performance through regular assessments, auditions, and recitals, providing feedback to students and parents on their progress.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, lesson plans, and performance evaluations.
- Collaborate with other music teachers and staff to organize concerts, workshops, and other musical events to showcase student talent and foster a sense of community.
- Stay updated with current trends and developments in instrumental music education, attending workshops, conferences, and professional development opportunities as needed.
- Foster a safe and inclusive learning environment that promotes creativity, respect, and a love for music.

**Qualifications**:

- A Bachelor's degree in Music Education, Music Performance, or a related field is required. A Master's degree will be an added advantage.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience teaching instrumental music, preferably in a school setting.
- Proficiency in playing and teaching a specific instrument(s) with a strong foundation in music theory, technique, and performance.
- Knowledge of various musical genres and styles, and the ability to adapt teaching methods to cater to different musical interests.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students, fostering a love for music and a desire for continuous improvement.
- Patience and understanding in working with students of varying skill levels and learning styles.
- Strong organizational skills to plan lessons, manage schedules, and coordinate performances and events.
- Ability to work collaboratively with other music teachers and staff to create a cohesive music program.
- Proficiency in using technology and music software for instructional purposes.
- A positive and enthusiastic attitude towards teaching and music education.

**Salary**: ₹200,000.00 - ₹400,000.00 per year
