**Your key responsibilities**
- Understand requirements from Solution Architect/Product Owner/business stakeholders/business users on user stories, new interfaces, system changes/requests and system enhancements.
- Define the technical integration architecture of IT solution in line with functional and non-functional requirements, following consistent integration patterns and best practices.
- Ensure that the integration design is in sync with WM Target Architecture blueprints and principles, as well as overarching DB architecture and security standards.
- Create appropriate technical documentation and ensure this is kept up to date.
- Provide guidance to the squad members to design, build, test and deliver high quality software solutions in line with business requirements.
- Responsible for all aspect of the integration architecture (i.e. maintainability, scalability, effective integration with other solutions, usage of shared solutions and reusability of components where possible, optimization of the resource consumption, etc.) with the objective to meet the appropriate balance between business needs and total cost of ownership.
- Closely collaborate with Solution Architects and Enterprise Architects to ensure architecture compliance and make sure that any design options are discussed in a timely manner to allow sufficient time for deliberate decision making.
- Present integration proposal to relevant Technology stakeholders within other squads and across tribes to ensure x-squad and x-tribe integration architecture synchronization and alignment.
- Contribute to peer level reviews, e.g. within the respective chapter.

**Your skills and experience**
- Ability/experience in defining and develop high-level and low-level technical solution design for complex initiatives
- Very good analytical skills and ability to oversee/structure complex tasks
- Persuasive power and persistence in driving adherence to solution design within squad
- Comfortable working in an open and with highly collaborated team
- Ability to work in an Agile and dynamic environment and to build up knowledge related to new technologies / solutions in an effective and timely manner
- Ability to deal with competing priorities without losing focus on the delivery of high quality, well-architected solutions.
- Experience in Agile / Scrum methodologies
- Strong expertise on Integration Architecture and Integration Patterns, Knowledge of networking concepts - connectivity testing, firewall, proxy, socks etc.
- Experience on secure communication (SSH, SFTP, SSL/TLS etc.), Identity & authentication architecture and encryption technologies
- Hands-on experience with financial straight through processing system interfaces, such as SWIFT, OMGEO, Order Management systems etc.
- Proficient in Java/Java technologies
- web services (REST/ SOAP), JSON, JDBC, JMS etc.
- Experience with Web (Apache), Application Servers (Tomcat) and database (Oracle, SQL/PL-SQL)
- Knowledge on job scheduling tools (tools like ControlM, Zena, Tivoli)
- Strong Server Side / API Solution Architecture Knowledge
