**Production Officer - (Pharma API).**

**Qualification**: BE (Chemical ) OR MSC (Organic Chemistry).
- Responsible for execution of production plan using pre-approved procedures, protocols & manufacturing records to comply cGMP & EHS norms.
- Ensuring cleaning of area & equipment.
- Escalation of issues / failures to Superior.
- Handling DCS Operation & issues escalation in timely manner.
- Actively participate & support in the investigation of deviations/OOS/OOT & provide support to production for defining Corrective & Preventive Actions
- Actively participate in Audits: Regulatory Inspections/ Internal Audits etc.
- Responsible to train new joiners for on-job trainings.
- Looking after Tank Farm Area: Unloading & Loading of Tanker along with Planning by involving Supply Chain Team
- Reconciliation of Liquid RM. Creation of Purchase Orders. Batch preparations & closer with required documentations.
- Hands on experience of ERP & DCS System. RM Requisitions, Raw Material Dispensing.

Knowledge of Quality Related Documentation like SOP, BMR, BPR, Validation & Qualification.

- **About Indian Footprint - Ambernath & Hyderabad Site**:_ The Indian Company - Ferring Therapeutics Limited & Ferring Laboratories Pvt Ltd. Ferring’s operations in India started in 1996 and current activities include import, export, local manufacturing, sales and marketing, R&D, etc; employing approximately 300 people. In 2013, Ferring started building the drug manufacturing facility with an estimated investment of Rs 200 crore that would effectively complement its requirements worldwide. The project was aptly named Pentasa Expansion and Oral Pharmaceuticals for Local Economy (PEOPLE). The 2.6 Bn Organization currently manufactures API’s for its flagship GI drug Pentasa for the world from its facility an Ambernath.
- **Ambernath**:_ Organization now plans to invest 500 crores in expanding the manufacturing of GI drugs in India over the next few years, In the last five years company has made an investment of an additional five hundred crores on an API facility and R&D center. Ferring is expanding active pharmaceutical ingredients (API) and intermediates unit capacity at Addl. Ambernath MIDC, 3 Ambernath in Thane district of Maharashtra. The capacity of the unit will be raised from 300 tpa to 1,200 tpa. In September 2022, company has received environment clearance from the State Environment Impact Assessment Authority (SEIAA), Maharashtra. Work on the project is expected to commence by January 2023. The contractor and machinery supplier are finalised. The company is expecting to complete the project by January 2026.
- **Hyderabad**:_ The company is also further expanding its R&D centre at Hyderabad in Telangana for developing innovative life cycle management products for domestic and overseas market. It is expanding its formulations unit at Hyderabad for making GI drugs besides an R&D centre at the same venue. Ferring Pharma has announced the establishment of another formulation unit in India at Hyderabad for manufacturing of its product called Pentasa (Mesalazine). Ferring will invest approximately € 60 million (about Rs 500 crore) over the next 2-3 years for establishing this manufacturing facility. Pentasa is a Ferring product used for the treatment and long-term management of inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD) including ulcerative colitis and Crohn’s disease. It is prescribed to treat the mild to moderate symptoms of active IBD as well as used widely as maintenance therapy to reduce the risk of recurrent attacks.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,629.95 per month
