The Role

Aix Admin

deploying and maintaining LPARs, maintaining VIOs, AIX OS, filesystem, maintaining GPFS & HACMP cluster.
- Install and configure AIX operating systems and servers.
- Maintain and upgrade the AIX OS.
- Install and test AIX OS patches.
- Develop procedures for AIX security and management.
- Identify and resolve AIX OS system issues.
- Plan and coordinate the installation, testing, and maintenance of AIX systems software and related hardware.
- Plan and execute AIX projects. LPAR creation, LPAR movement, VIOS management.
- Manage AIX and LINUX clusters (HACMP, GPFS, filesystems)
- Troubleshoot and resolve AIX and Linux security Vulnerability in the environment.
- Analytic Skill using NMON

Required Technical Skill Set
- IBM AIX P7, P8, P9 ,
- LINUX RHEL7 system administration

Non-Technical Skill
- Excellent Communication (Written / Verbal), preferred languages English / Hindi / Marathi
- Very good team player
- Posses “Can do “attitude with positive mindset.
