
Business Developement Executive

As an IT Business Development Executive, your primary responsibility will be to drive sales of IT products and services, build relationships with clients, and achieve revenue targets. You will be responsible for identifying business opportunities, engaging with potential customers, and providing effective solutions that meet their IT needs. Your role will involve a combination of sales prospecting, relationship management, and consultative selling to drive business growth.
**Responsibilities**:
- New business development: Identify and prospect potential clients in the target market. Conduct market research to understand customer needs, challenges, and IT requirements. Generate leads through various channels such as cold calling, networking events, referrals, and online research.
- Consultative selling: Engage with prospective clients to understand their IT infrastructure, business goals, and pain points. Provide consultative advice and recommend suitable IT products, solutions, and services that align with their needs. Effectively communicate the value proposition and competitive advantages of the company's offerings.
- Relationship building: Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within client organizations. Develop a deep understanding of their businesses, IT strategies, and future plans. Nurture relationships through regular communication, meetings, and presentations to foster long-term partnerships.
- Sales pipeline management: Manage the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to closing deals. Qualify leads, conduct product demonstrations, prepare proposals, and negotiate contracts. Track and report sales activities, opportunities, and pipeline status using CRM systems. Forecast sales targets and ensure timely follow-up on leads.
- Collaboration with internal teams: Collaborate with the technical and presales teams to understand customer requirements and develop tailored solutions. Coordinate with project managers, implementation teams, and support staff to ensure successful delivery of IT solutions and excellent customer experience.
- Stay updated on industry trends: Keep abreast of the latest trends, innovations, and advancements in the IT industry. Stay informed about competitors' products, pricing, and market positioning. Continuously enhance product knowledge and maintain a thorough understanding of the company's offerings.
- Achieve sales targets: Meet or exceed assigned sales targets and revenue objectives. Develop and execute sales strategies, action plans, and pricing models to maximize sales opportunities. Monitor sales performance, analyze trends, and take corrective actions as necessary to achieve desired results.
- Client retention and upselling: Develop strategies to ensure client satisfaction, retention, and loyalty. Proactively identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within the existing customer base. Present new products, upgrades, or services that align with client needs and provide additional value.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, IT, computer science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in IT sales, business development, or account management.
- Strong knowledge of IT products, solutions, and services, including hardware, software, networking, cloud computing, cybersecurity, and IT consulting.
- Excellent sales and negotiation skills, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish credibility with clients.
- Technical acumen to understand and communicate complex IT concepts effectively.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and sales tools for pipeline management and reporting.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.
- Results-oriented mindset with a focus on customer satisfaction and long-term relationship building.
- Knowledge of the IT industry, market trends, and competitive landscape.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Regular / Permanent
**Salary**: ₹45,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
