Job Role:
Mera Gaon Meri Dharohar (MGMD) The Mera Gaon Meri Dharohar (MGMD) project is one of the most important part of National Mission on Cultural Mapping (NMCM), undertaken as a component of the Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav. The project has been envisaged to culturally map 6.5 Lakh villages along with their geographical and demographic profiles and creative capitals. The cultural profile of the village documents village stories and beliefs, traditional ornaments, dress, and food. The mapping of the villages entails stories associated with natural and physical spaces in the villages, specific rituals/worship held in these places, and deities associated with them. The Arts and Crafts Traditions practised in different villages are recorded through art forms such as storytelling, epic narration, music, dance, drama, visual arts, handicrafts, handloom, and others.The villages being documented are classified into: ? Arts and Crafts ? Ecologically Oriented ? Scholastic: linked with Textual and Scriptural Traditions of India ? Epic Village: linked with Ramayana, Mahabharata and Puranic legends and oral epics ? Historical: linked with Local and National History ? Architectural Heritage.Skills required: ? Knowledge of video editing using professional tools like Adobe Premiere Pro and/or DaVinci Resolve ? Knowledge of audio editing using professional tools like Audacity and/or Adobe Audition ? Knowledge of the Hindi language (written).Responsibilities: ? Your duties include editing of MGMD films as per the pre-set sequence ? Assembling raw footage onto a computer ? Following a script, sequence/outline provided ? Inputting sound to enhance footage, which may include selecting music and voice-overs ? Inputting graphics to enhance footage ? Digitally splicing film and video and synchronizing them into one rough cut file ? Improving and correcting colouring and faulty footage ? Working closely with senior editors to present a final product that matches the format being followed.

Contract length: 3 months

**Salary**: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
