Knowledge on data extraction and data cleansing methodologies.
- Transform and cleanse the data to make it analytics ready.
- Must have proficiency in SQL to write analytical queries, prepare DDL and DML scripts.
- Must have proficiency in data visualization tools - Tableau and/or Power BI and/or DOMO.
- Ability to identify critical key performance indicators (KPI's), metrics, tracking methodologies and data visualizations.
- Ability to create action filters, parameters, and calculated sets for preparing dashboards.
- Capability to create data story with the help of dashboard in defined timelines.
- Optimize the dashboard with large, multi-dimensional data sets.
- Strong critical thinking, analytical, organizational, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Highly motivated and able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Ability to operate comfortably and effectively in a fast-paced, highly cross-functional, rapidly changing environment.
- Excellent analytical skills with demonstrated ability to solve problems.
- Basic understanding of analytical techniques such as text mining, sentiment analysis, predictive analysis, and event detection.
**Primary Skills**
- Strong knowledge of data warehouse concepts including data modelling, data quality, ETL, reporting, analytics, and visualization.
- Good grasp over Amazon AWS/RedShift/Azure/GCP or other Datawarehouse providers.
**Secondary Skills**
- Basic understanding of Statistics and Machine Learning.
- Agile mindset and good understanding of MVP / iterative development is desired.
