Key responsibilities
- Capture functional requirements, user stories and derive action plans
- Build working increment and ensure connection to product vision
- Focus on functional items with self-organized execution
- Assessing current financial data processes and workflows to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, or areas for improvement
- Ensuring the data is accurate, complete, and ready for analysis. This involves cleaning and transforming data to remove inconsistencies, fill in missing values, and standardize formats
- Ensuring that data management practices comply with organizational policies and regulations. Maintaining data integrity, security, and confidentiality
- Identifying opportunities to improve data collection methods, analysis techniques, and reporting processes. Staying updated with industry trends and best practices to enhance analytical capabilities
- Addressing and troubleshooting issues related to data quality, analysis methods, or reporting tools. Finding solutions to complex data challenges and ensuring the accuracy of analyses
- Support product owner in function specific questions (e.g., to Accounting, FP&A,) and prioritization of user stories for product backlog/sprints
- Supports in function specific questions (e.g., Accounting, FP&A,)
- Make key decisions regarding product features, release schedules, and trade-offs to ensure that the product delivers maximum value and aligns with business objectives.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business Management or IT.
- MBA in Finance is preferred.
- Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in Finance Data Analytics role i.e., finance or IT/Digital operations experience.
- Effectively communicates with and engages all levels of the organization verbally and in writing; produces clear, understandable documentation geared for all audiences.
- Must be an analytical thinker with a strong financial mindset and the ability to solve problems proactively.
- Strong operational mindset to create standardized, repeatable solutions and deliver them with accuracy and timeliness.
- Highly accountable and driven business professional
- Proficient in Essbase/HFM, SAP, SAP Central Finance, Power BI, Business Objects, SQL, Advance MS Office skills especially in Excel.
