**Meal Preparation**:

- Prepare breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks as per daily menu.
- Follow patient-specific diets (e.g., diabetic, low salt, soft diet) as instructed by the dietitian.
- Cook meals for staff and attendants when required.
- **Food Safety & Hygiene**:

- Maintain high standards of cleanliness in the kitchen and cooking areas.
- Ensure food is cooked in hygienic conditions and proper PPE (gloves, apron, cap) is used.
- Store raw and cooked food separately to avoid contamination.
- **Quality Control**:

- Taste and check food before serving to ensure quality, taste, and correct temperature.
- Use fresh and approved ingredients.
- **Inventory & Stock Management**:

- Inform canteen supervisor or store in-charge if any ingredient is low.
- Avoid food wastage by cooking in proper quantities.
- Label and store leftover food properly (if reusable per hospital policy).
- **Teamwork**:

- Coordinate with dietitians, kitchen helpers, and canteen manager.
- Assist during bulk cooking or special requirements (e.g., emergency food, VIP visit, etc.).
- **Compliance**:

- Follow all hospital food safety policies and FSSAI (Food Safety and Standards Authority of India) guidelines.
- Maintain a clean uniform and personal hygiene at all times.
- **Documentation**:

- Maintain records of food prepared, served, and leftover (if required by hospital SOP).
- Report any issues like equipment breakdown or spoiled ingredients immediately.

**Work Hours**:

- Shift-based duty depending on canteen schedule (Morning/Evening/Night)
- Overtime as per requirement in emergencies

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Rotational shift
