Job Description: Quality Assurance and Operations.

Position Overview: The Quality Assurance Manager in the food industry is responsible for ensuring that all products meet quality and safety standards throughout the production process. They oversee the development and implementation of quality assurance procedures and policies to maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices. The Quality Assurance Manager collaborates with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement, manage quality control processes, and promote a culture of quality throughout the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and Implement Quality Assurance Systems:

- Establish and maintain quality assurance programs, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and standards.
- Develop and implement quality control measures to monitor and evaluate production processes, product quality, and safety standards.
- Design and manage documentation systems, including product specifications, test methods, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Regulatory Compliance:

- Stay up-to-date with relevant regulations, industry guidelines, and standards (e.g., FSSAI, HACCP, GMP) to ensure compliance.
- Liaise with regulatory agencies and conduct internal audits to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and submit necessary documentation, reports, and certifications to regulatory bodies as required.

Quality Control and Testing:

- Establish and maintain a robust quality control program to monitor raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products.
- Develop and implement testing methodologies and protocols to ensure product safety, quality, and consistency.
- Oversee and manage product sampling, laboratory testing, and analysis processes.
- Investigate and resolve quality-related issues, customer complaints, and non-conformance incidents.

Training and Team Management:

- Provide training and guidance to employees on quality standards, policies, and procedures.
- Develop and mentor quality assurance team members, providing feedback and support for their professional development.
- Foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement across the organization.
