We are searching for an Operating Engineer - Quality who possesses the operating skills to operate effectively in a matrix environment and have confidence in driving aggressive growth plans. The person should have a consultative and collaborative style, and a proven track record / achievement. **THE ROLE**

This role is responsible for executing production planning to meet customer demands and responsible for ensuring to achieve 5S, safety, productivity, and on-time performance goals on his machine strategies and actions plans to ensure the quality of all in process materials which includes Inhouse Quality Improvement, Inhouse Audits, and overall management of laboratory together with Local functional leaders (i.e. Innovation, Operations, Finance, HR, IT and Supply Chain) to achieve overall organization's objectives. In addition, this role would have to liaise with Single Discipline team including support functions, to delight our Internal stakeholders.

**YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES / ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**_:_**_ Other duties may be assigned beyond the core functions listed below._

The responsibilities of the role are to implement the required action plan, manage ensuring the Quality of all in process materials which includes Inhouse Quality Improvement, Inhouse Audits, and overall management of laboratory. activities to support efforts to achieve ,maintaining of daily production activity in logbook and good communication with supervisor and manager. The role shall carry out tactical activities to to interact and agree on Gates / customer quality standards, work with gates team for improvement in the gates quality. In addition, it is to support key tasks, including operational task aligned with Regional vision and aspirations.

The assigned territories include Fluid Power businesses in India. The specific responsibilities will fall into three primary areas:

- Maximum 3 pointers per accountability_

Accountability #1: Customer (Internal / External Stakeholders)
- To interact and agree on Gates / customer quality standards, work with gates team for improvement in the gates quality.
- Working with peer groups in root cause analysis and instituting corrective and preventive action.
- Follow up of SOP 100% with the people during production to control the process.

Accountability #2: Process / Performance
- Responsible for upholding shop floor tidiness, implementing 5S practices, and ensuring safety within their operational zones
- Keeping records of production output, machine setup approval, SPC sheets & daily machine check sheets.
- Entrusted with the upkeep of all documentation relevant to their operational zones.

Accountability #3: People
- Coordinating with the supplier and the supervisor to achieve the organizational objective.
- Responsible for the inhouse quality inspection with the supplier.

**SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES**: The incumbent reports to senior manager - manufacturing & operate in individual contributor capacity.

**YOUR QUALIFICATIONS/ QUALIFICATIONS & PREFERRED SKILLS**:_To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required._

This person must have at least 2 years hands on experience in Quality assurance functions, Laboratory/Incoming quality management/ Material testing..
