**Job Role & Responsibility**:
**Office assistant is responsible for the following**:
1) Forwards information by receiving and distributing communications; collecting and mailing correspondence; copying information.
2) Maintains supplies by checking stock to determine inventory levels; anticipating requirements; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt; stocking items; delivering supplies to work stations.
3) Maintains equipment by completing preventive maintenance; troubleshooting failures; calling for repairs; monitoring equipment operation; monitoring and purchasing meter fund
4) Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
5) answer phones and transfer to the appropriate staff member
6) take and distribute accurate messages
7) coordinate messenger and courier service
8) receive, sort and distribute incoming mail
9) prepare outgoing mail for distribution
10) fax, scan and copy documents
11) maintain office filing and storage systems
12) update and maintain databases such as mailing lists, contact lists and client information
13) update and maintain internal staff contact lists
14) type documents, reports and correspondence
15) organize travel arrangements for staff
16) monitor and maintain office supplies
**Job Types**: Full-time, Regular / Permanent
**Salary**: ₹12,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
