**Job Objective**:
To prepare cutting programs from dieline/design files and operate the CNC sample cutting machine to produce accurate packaging samples and mockups as per design & client requirements.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**1️ Programming & File Preparation**:

- Receive dieline/design files (PDF, DXF, AI, CFF2, PLT) from the Prepress or Design team.
- Convert and prepare machine-readable cutting programs using relevant software (e.g., Esko Studio, ArtiosCAD, CorelDRAW, or machine’s native software).
- Set correct cutting, creasing, perforation, and routing parameters based on material type (duplex board, kraft, corrugated, etc.).

**2️ Machine Operation**:

- Load material sheets properly and ensure correct alignment.
- Operate CNC sample cutting machine for cutting, creasing, and V-cut jobs.
- Ensure samples are cut precisely as per dieline dimensions and specifications.
- Conduct regular calibration and tool checks (blade, crease wheel, pen, router bit, etc.).

**3️ Quality & Output**:

- Inspect finished samples for accuracy, fit, and finish.
- Make corrections or reprogramming if required.
- Ensure samples are clean, properly folded, and ready for presentation to clients or production.

**4️ Maintenance & Safety**:

- Perform daily and weekly preventive maintenance of the CNC machine.
- Maintain clean and safe working area around the machine.
- Report any mechanical or software issue to maintenance or prepress head immediately.

**5️ Documentation & Coordination**:

- Maintain program file records for traceability and future reference.
- Coordinate with Prepress, Designing, and Marketing teams for sample approvals.
- Update daily cutting report and sample delivery status.

**Qualification & Experience**:

- **Education**: ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Printing, or Graphic Arts preferred.
- **Experience**: 1-3 years in packaging / printing industry with CNC cutting experience.
- **Software Knowledge**: ArtiosCAD / Esko / CorelDRAW / AutoCAD (as applicable).

**Key Skills Required**:

- Knowledge of dieline, keyline & packaging structure.
- Precision handling and attention to detail.
- Basic mechanical & troubleshooting skills.
- Team coordination and time management.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
