**We're looking for a friendly and enthusiastic team member to join our growing hyper market as a Counter Staff**

In this role, you will be the face of our various departments, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth shopping experience. You'll be responsible for interacting with customers, processing sales, and keeping the counter area clean and well-stocked.

**Responsibilities**:

- Greet customers warmly and professionally, answering questions about products and directing them to specific items within your department.
- Assist customers with their purchases, efficiently processing payments through cash, card, and contactless methods.
- Ensure accurate and timely scanning of all items, maintaining a clean and organized checkout area.
- Bag groceries efficiently and offer to help customers load their purchases when needed.
- Maintain a strong product knowledge within your assigned department, upselling and recommending products when appropriate.
- Keep your designated counter area clean and organized, ensuring proper labeling and stock rotation.
- Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally, working to resolve any issues efficiently.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, including cash handling and safety protocols.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Minimum of [X] months of retail experience (prior experience in a hyper market a plus).
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Accuracy and attention to detail with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to lift and carry up to [X] kgs.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
