Position Overview: The Senior Physical Education Teacher is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing physical education programs that promote physical fitness, teamwork, and healthy lifestyles among students. This role requires strong leadership, advanced pedagogical skills, and a commitment to fostering an inclusive and engaging learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Curriculum Development:
Design and implement a comprehensive physical education curriculum aligned with educational standards and best practices.

Incorporate a variety of physical activities and sports to accommodate diverse student interests and abilities.

2. Instruction and Assessment:
Deliver high-quality instruction that engages students and promotes physical, social, and emotional development.

Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance learning outcomes.

3. Student Engagement:
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation, teamwork, and sportsmanship.

Motivate students to develop a lifelong appreciation for physical fitness and healthy living.

4. Leadership and Mentoring:
Supervise and mentor junior physical education staff, providing guidance and support in teaching practices and professional development.

Lead extracurricular activities and sports teams, promoting school spirit and student involvement.

5. Collaboration:
Work closely with other educators, health professionals, and parents to support student well-being and academic success.

6. Safety and Compliance:
Ensure that all physical activities adhere to safety standards and regulations.

Conduct regular assessments of equipment and facilities to maintain a safe environment for all students.

7. Professional Development:
Stay current with developments in physical education, coaching techniques, and health education through ongoing professional development.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Education, Kinesiology, or a related field.

Valid teaching certification/license in physical education.

Proven experience in teaching physical education at the secondary level.

Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

Ability to engage and motivate students from diverse backgrounds.

Work Environment:
This position typically requires working in a school environment, which may include indoor and outdoor settings. Physical demands may include participating in sports activities and lifting equipment.

Pay: From ₹25,000.00 per month
