Job Title: Commodity Dealer - Financial Services - Mumbai

Client Interaction: Communicate with clients to understand their trading goals, risk tolerance, and investment preferences. Provide market insights, advice, and recommendations to clients based on their requirements.

Market Analysis: Stay updated with the latest market trends, news, and developments affecting commodity & Currency prices. Conduct thorough research and analysis of supply and demand factors, geopolitical events, economic indicators, and other relevant information that could impact commodity markets.

Trade Execution: Execute trades on behalf of clients by placing buy and sell orders for various commodities & Currencies. Ensure accurate and timely execution of orders, adhering to the client's instructions and market conditions.

Risk Management: Assess and manage risk associated with trading activities. Monitor market fluctuations, assess potential risks, and implement risk mitigation strategies to protect clients' investments and the company's interests.

Portfolio Management: Help clients build and manage their commodity & Currency portfolios, considering their risk appetite, investment horizon, and financial objectives. Provide recommendations for portfolio diversification and adjustments as market conditions change.

Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines set by regulatory authorities (such as SEBI in India). Adhere to industry standards and ethical practices to maintain the company's reputation and client trust.

Reporting: Maintain accurate records of trading activities, including order details, transaction history, and client interactions. Generate reports and statements for clients to provide transparency and accountability for their trading activities.

Relationship Building: Develop strong relationships with clients by offering exceptional customer service, addressing their concerns, and providing valuable insights and market updates. Cultivate long-term relationships to enhance client retention and attract new business.

Continuous Learning: Keep up-to-date with changes in commodity markets, trading strategies, and technological advancements. Attend seminars, workshops, and training sessions to enhance knowledge and skills.

Collaboration: Collaborate with colleagues in research, compliance, and other departments to gather and share information, insights, and best practices. Work closely with analysts and research teams to provide clients with informed trading recommendations.

Technology Utilisation: Utilise trading platforms and software tools to execute trades, monitor market movements, and manage client accounts efficiently.
Performance Tracking: Monitor the performance of clients' trading activities and portfolios. Evaluate the success of trading strategies and make adjustments as necessary to align with clients' goals.

Analytical Skills: Ability to analyse market data, research reports, and economic indicators to identify trading opportunities and potential risks. Understanding of Options and various Option based Strategies.

Communication: Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients, explain complex concepts, and provide trading recommendations.

Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing market conditions and evolving trading strategies.

Mandatory: In-depth understanding of commodity / Currency markets, including factors affecting prices, supply-demand dynamics, and global trends. Complete understanding of Hedging concepts in Commodities and Currencies
