**Job Description: Waiter**, **Waitress and Housekeeping Staff**

**Position: Waitress**

**Location: The Morni Resort and The Morni Farm Stay**

**Reports to: General Manager**

**Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
** Guest Service: Greet guests warmly and seat them promptly. Present menus, answer questions about menu items, and make recommendations when appropriate.**

** Order Management: Take accurate food and drink orders using our point-of-sale (POS) system. Communicate any special requests or dietary restrictions to the kitchen staff clearly.**

** Food and Beverage Service: Deliver orders from the kitchen and bar to the guests' tables accurately and efficiently. Ensure all food is presented correctly and a high standard of service is maintained.**

** Table Maintenance: Check on guests regularly to ensure their needs are met. Clear tables of used dishes and glassware, and prepare the table for the next guests.**

** Payment Processing: Process payments accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit cards, and other forms of payment.**

** Cleanliness and Hygiene: Maintain a clean and organized work area, including tables, chairs, and service stations. Adhere to all health and safety regulations.**

** Team Collaboration: Work effectively with kitchen staff, hosts, and other team members to ensure smooth service and a great dining experience for all guests.**

**Qualifications**:
** Proven experience as a waitress or in a similar role, preferably in a hotel or fine dining environment.**

** Exceptional customer service and communication skills.**

** Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.**

** Strong knowledge of food and beverage menu items.**

** Familiarity with POS systems.**

** A professional and polished appearance.**

** Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.**

**Physical Requirements**:
** Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.**

** Ability to lift and carry trays of food and beverages.**
