We are looking to recruit one Assistant Quantity Surveyor (Civil)minimum 3 to 4 year experience in same fieldwho can work under the guidance of a senior quantity surveyor or commercial manager and assists in managing the costs and financial aspects of a high-rise building construction project after the contract has been awarded. Their role is to support the post and pre-contract phase, ensuring effective cost control, proper documentation, and smooth project execution. Here's a breakdown of the key responsibilities:
**1. Supporting Cost Control and Management**
- **Assisting with Cost Monitoring**: Help in monitoring actual costs against the project budget under the supervision of a senior quantity surveyor.
- **Cost Reporting**: Assist in preparing regular cost reports, showing actual vs. forecasted expenses, and identifying variances from the budget.
- **Payment Certification**: Assist in preparing payment certificates for contractors, ensuring work completed is accurately valued.

**2. Interim Valuations and Site Measurements**
- **Measuring Work Completed**: Visit project sites to help take accurate measurements of work completed, which will be used to prepare interim valuations.
- **Supporting Interim Payments**: Assist in calculating the value of work completed for interim payments to contractors and subcontractors.

**3. Assisting with Variations**
- **Recording Variations**: Help document any changes to the project scope, design, or materials, and ensure these are recorded accurately.
- **Costing Variations**: Under supervision, assist in the assessment of variations to the contract and work with senior colleagues to adjust the project budget accordingly.

**4. Supporting Claims and Dispute Resolution**
- **Assisting with Claims Evaluation**: Help gather data and support senior staff in assessing claims for additional costs submitted by contractors (e.g., due to delays or unforeseen work).
- **Supporting Dispute Resolution**: Assist in preparing documentation and financial records that may be needed to resolve disputes or contract disagreements.

**5. Assisting with Final Account Preparation**
- **Supporting Final Account Settlement**: Assist in gathering data and preparing final accounts, ensuring all costs are accounted for, and supporting the agreement of the final sum with contractors.
- **Documentation of Final Costs**: Help with compiling a detailed summary of the project’s total costs, including variations and final payments.

**6. Contractual Compliance and Record Keeping**
- **Document Management**: Assist in maintaining detailed records of financial transactions, contracts, variations, and communications related to project costs.
- **Contract Compliance**: Support in ensuring that the project remains compliant with contract terms and conditions, helping senior colleagues track and manage any financial or contractual obligations.

Pay: ₹17,531.63 - ₹30,000.00 per month
