Network Security- Fortinet

6+ years of experience in network Design, implementations, and operation support for UK/Europe/US based accounts. Good experience in handling Data Centre Hosting and migrations.

**Technical Skills**
- Good knowledge in Palo Alto Firewall, Fortinet Firewalls, F5 Load Balancer and Juniper switches.
- Good knowledge in handling FortiGate & Palo Alto from CLI and Panorama
- Good Knowledge in WAF module on F5-Big IP platform Application Security Manager (ASM)
- Good Knowledge in ICA Proxy, Reverse Proxy on F5-Big IP platform.
- Should have good understanding of Routing and Switching concepts
- Good knowledge on Palo Alto Threat Prevention services.
- Good Knowledge on Palo Alto DLP ( Data Prevention loss ) technologies
- Good understanding of FortiGate & Palo Alto URL based ACL’s and Filters
- Strong Knowledge in Routing Protocols such as BGP, OSPF, ISIS, EIGRP and MPLS
- Strong Hands on experience in MPLS, BGP and VRF concepts
- Should have enhanced troubleshooting skills with BGP, LDP, IP routing policies and VRF
- Optimally communicate with third parties such as partners and customers regarding technical issues and customer service inquiries, both orally and in writing.
- Diagnose and tackle wireless, security, switching, and other various network-related issues reported by Cisco Meraki customers and partners.
- Own each customer case from initial creation to resolution.
- Collaborate with other support team members to fix network outages, misconfigurations, and sophisticated networking issues on customers' devices.
- Read and analyze packet collects using Wireshark.
- Work with engineering and management to diagnose and resolve critical, escalated issues.
- Use acquired knowledge to suggest, edit, and write in-depth Knowledge Base articles.
- Stay up to date on Meraki features and technology by attending lunch and learns, participating in engineering and product team communication, and keeping up with enterprise and cloud networking trends.
- Good understanding and hand on experience in Cisco VMDC architectures
- Good understanding and hands on experience in all data center technologies such as Nexus Platforms, Fabric path, FEX, VDC, VPC, MEC, VSS, STP
- Execute all phases of network project implementation, from planning to deployment.
- Utilize your expertise in Cisco ACI to design, configure, and optimize network infrastructure.
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver projects within established timelines and budgets.
- Provide technical guidance and support during project lifecycles.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in network delivery
- Hands on in Stretched Data center architecture and related concepts
- Should have good technical competence to suggest IOS and NX-OS suitable to Infrastructure
- Hands on Nexus 7K, 5K, 2K, 1K v, Cisco ASR, Cisco ISR, Cisco 65xx, 45xx, 39xx,38xx, 29xx, 36xx
- Hand on Cisco ACI Design and deployment
- Should have good knowledge in WAN optimizers such as Riverbed Steelhead
- Good understanding and Hands on Cisco ACS 5.6, Cisco LMS 4.2.5, Cisco Prime Infrastructure 2.2
- Good knowledge and understanding of Network monitoring tools (Solarwinds, CA Spectrum and Net cool)
- Good understanding on managing and administering Cisco ISE for Wireless.
- Good Understanding and hands on in Cisco ASA Firewalls, Cisco ASA context Firewalls and VPN technologies
- Should have good understanding and able to manage Cisco wireless controllers
- Knowledge and open minded to suggest Global network and Data Centre Best Practices
- Cisco ACI expertise, including:

- Knowledge of ACI architectures, including single site, multi-pod, multi-site.
- Knowledge of ACI components (Tenant, BD, VRF, APIC, L2out and L3out), Nexus DC technologies such as vPC, VXLAN.
- Functional level knowledge of implementing ACI using infrastructure as code and automation tools (Rest API, Ansible).
- Strong working knowledge in switching and routing domains: STP, VLAN, 802.1x, IPv6, LACP, Stacking, VRF, PBR, GRE, HSRP, secured VTI, OSPF, ISIS, BGP(iBGP, eBGP, MP-BGP), NAT, IPSec, ACL;
- Hands on experience in Cisco Enterprise\Data Center Switches, Cisco Router ISR\ASR, Cisco ASA\Firepower\FTD\FPMC, Juniper EX\QFX\SRX,MX, FortiNet\WEB, CISCO\Juniper\FortiNet\F5 Virtual Appliance.
- Knowledge of the principles of operation and configuration Data Center Spine-and-Leaf Architecture.

**Other Skillset**
- Ability to work with 3rd party vendors, OEMs and Product suppliers.
- Knowledge on Contracts and SLAs.
- Good knowledge in ITIL process and Agile
- Experience in handling of Network high priority incidents.
