Job Summary:
Our organization is seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Stock Auditors to conduct random audits on the inventory of various outlets within our distribution network. Stock Auditors play a critical role in ensuring accurate stock levels, identifying discrepancies, and maintaining inventory integrity. This position involves regular travel to different outlets for audit purposes.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Stock Auditing:
- Conduct random stock audits at designated outlets as per the audit schedule.
- Verify physical stock levels against inventory records and sales data.
- Identify discrepancies, including overstocking, understocking, or pilferage.
2. Inventory Accuracy:
- Ensure that stock records are up-to-date and accurate.
- Validate stock movement transactions, including receipts and dispatches.
- Report any anomalies or irregularities in stock records.
3. Documentation:
- Maintain detailed audit reports with findings and recommendations.
- Document audit observations, including stock discrepancies and their causes.
- Compile reports for management review.
4. Process Improvement:
- Collaborate with relevant teams to implement corrective actions.
- Provide insights and recommendations to improve inventory management processes.
- Identify opportunities to enhance stock control procedures.
5. Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with company policies and standard operating procedures.
- Adhere to audit protocols and guidelines.
- Report any compliance issues to the management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or a related field.
- Proven experience in stock auditing or inventory management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in stock verification.
- Excellent documentation and reporting skills.
- Proficiency in using audit tools and software.
- Ability to work independently and meet audit deadlines.
- Willingness to travel to various outlets as required.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: ₹12,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
