* Conduct regular and surprise audits of gold loans, pledged ornaments, and vault stock.

  • • Verify gold purity, weight, and valuation as per company standards.
  • • Cross-check all loan-related documents and ensure data accuracy in the system.
  • • Identify discrepancies or potential fraud and report findings to the audit manager.
  • • Ensure compliance with company policies, RBI norms, and audit procedures.
  • • Coordinate with branch managers and staff for audit rectifications.
  • • Prepare audit reports and present findings with corrective action suggestions.
  • • Maintain confidentiality and ensure secure handling of gold assets.

Preferred candidate profile

* Gold purity testing and valuation

  • Knowledge of Karat meter / XRF machine operations
  • Experience in gold loan or jewellery industry audits
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Knowledge of audit procedures and compliance standards
  • MS Excel and audit report preparation
  • Communication and coordination skills
  • Willingness to travel frequently
