YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Contribute to the development and execution of the category/market action plan by:
Securing compliance of the Group Procurement purchase process.

Building long term supplier partnerships and drive supplier performance.
Involving relevant business partners to identify business needs and opportunities.
- The Purchaser, Market Procurement should have worked in sourcing and strategy development, tactics and key activities for a portion of all IT and non-IT categories like Professional & Consulting Services, Hardware, Software, Facilities, fit out etc.) This position is responsible for largely sourcing of non-categories related purchases and leading supplier relationship development, including monitoring performance and driving value. The Purchaser will recommend and advise on best options for the business. Purchaser would also support in category related purchases as and when required.

The Purchaser will bring experience and knowledge in the Procurement space and should have working knowledge of SAP-Ariba Source to Pay system, and influence business needs and commercial results through Procurement best practices. He/She/They will lead the overall supplier relationship strategy for their spend area, ensuring proper commercial treatment of suppliers by reinforcing policy, ethics and our strategic approach with suppliers and with other user departments. This role will need to understand Procurement Policy, Systems and Processes to ensure proper procurement methodology is followed. This position reports to the Country Procurement Manager. You have to:

- Responsible for building long term partnerships with Key Suppliers based on shared business model.
- Responsible for building trusted relationships through IKEA way of doing business, secure compliance of IWAY and Code of Conduct.
- Responsible for supplier management and supplier performance by professionally challenge suppliers to constantly improve all aspects of supplier performance.
- Through proactive market monitoring give input about sourcing options, supplier market, market trends and contributing to the development of the category/sourcing plans
