Scrum Master

We are seeking an experienced and passionate **Scrum Master **to join our gaming company's

dynamic development team. As a Scrum Master, you will play a crucial role in facilitating Agile

methodologies and ensuring the effective delivery of high-quality gaming products. You will

collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement,

transparency, and accountability. This position requires a deep understanding of Scrum principles

and practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to navigate the unique challenges of

the gaming industry.

**Responsibilities**
- Agile Facilitation: Lead and facilitate Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups,

sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Ensure that these meetings are

productive, focused, and result-oriented.
- Team Empowerment: Empower and enable the development team to self-organize, make

decisions, and take ownership of their work. Support and mentor team members in

embracing Agile values and principles.
- Product Backlog Management: Collaborate with Product Owners to prioritize and maintain

the product backlog, ensuring that it is well-groomed, actionable, and aligned with the

company's vision and goals.
- Sprint Execution: Guide the team in successfully executing each sprint by removing

impediments, ensuring that goals are met, and promoting a sustainable development pace.
- Performance Metrics: Monitor and analyze team performance metrics, such as velocity and

burndown charts, to identify areas for improvement and guide decision-making.
- Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team and

the organization. Encourage experimentation and innovation while sharing and implementing

best practices.
- Stakeholder Communication: Facilitate communication and collaboration between the

development team and stakeholders, ensuring transparency and understanding of project

progress, risks, and dependencies.
- Conflict Resolution: Address and resolve conflicts within the team, fostering a positive and

collaborative working environment.
- Agile Training and Coaching: Provide coaching and training to team members, product

owners, and stakeholders on Agile principles, practices, and methodologies.
- Industry Awareness: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, best practices, and tools in the

performance.

**Requirements**:

- BE/B. Tech. in Computer Science, or an MCA from a reputed university.
- 2+ years of proven experience as a Scrum Master in the gaming industry or related software

development domain.
- Strong understanding of Agile principles and Scrum framework, with the ability to tailor

practices to suit the gaming company's unique needs.
- Excellent facilitation and communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate

complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Solid problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities, with a positive and proactive approach

to challenges.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams, including game developers, designers,

artists, and testers.
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle and game development processes.
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or other relevant Agile certifications are a plus.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and evolving environment, fostering a culture of agility and

continuous improvement.
