**Key Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and cook bakery and savoury items (e.g., breads, pastries, quiches, pies, puff items, etc.) according to standard recipes and production schedules.
- Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and quality.
- Supervise and assist Commis 2 and other junior staff in the preparation and setup.
- Ensure mise en place is prepared on time and in accordance with production needs.
- Maintain proper hygiene, sanitation, and cleanliness standards in the work area.
- Follow all safety and food handling procedures as per HACCP standards.
- Contribute to the development of new recipes and bakery products.
- Monitor and control food wastage.

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- Diploma or certification in Culinary Arts or Bakery.
- 2+ years of experience in a similar role in a commercial bakery or hospitality kitchen.
- Strong knowledge of bakery ingredients, tools, and techniques.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Team player with a keen eye for detail.

**Job Description - Commis 2 (Bakery & Savoury)**

**Position Title**: Commis 2 - Bakery & Savoury
**Department**: Kitchen - Bakery Section
**Reports to**: Commis 1 / Chef de Partie

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist in preparing bakery and savoury items under the guidance of Commis 1 and senior chefs.
- Measure, mix, and prepare ingredients as per recipes.
- Help with baking, garnishing, and packaging as required.
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment and workstations.
- Assist in inventory checks and proper storage of ingredients.
- Follow food safety standards and maintain hygiene at all times.
- Support in mise en place and ensure readiness for service.

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- Basic culinary or bakery training preferred.
- 6 months to 1 year of experience in bakery or food production.
- Willingness to learn and grow within the kitchen brigade.
- Basic understanding of bakery operations and food safety.
- Punctual, disciplined, and a team player.

Pay: ₹17,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
