TE Connectivity’s Technical Engineering Support Teams analyze, test and assist in research for the development of products and processes. Team members may specialize in quality control or assurance, chemical manufacturing processes, metals, electrical connectors and components, process development, materials, and/or instrumentation. They may also handle calibration, displays, network control, mold development and audiovisual work or environmental health and safety. The Technical Engineering Support Teams are responsible for the completion of assigned engineering projects within budgetary and scheduling guidelines. They plan, prioritize, and manage multiple engineering projects; prioritize tasks and assign team members to ensure that the team's overall resources are used effectively and that project deadlines are met. They evaluate and authorize changes that significantly impact the scope, budget, or timeline of a project. At times, they may work directly with customers to understand needs, gather customer requirements, identify resources and assess project risks. They create, develop, plan, write and edit operational, instructional, maintenance or test procedures for paper, multimedia or web-based publication, for non-technical and technical users.

**Job Responsibilities**:

- Support TE affiliates and direct customers on Product Compliance / Conflict Mineral requests and address and resolve customer requirements.
- Review of p/n’s against Product Drawing for the entire BOM Structure, check in the WPA system for compliance status for each of the sublevel parts, by reviewing the Full Material Declarations provided by the supplier.
- Knowledge of entering material declarations in different customer formats/web portals.
- Demonstrate a working knowledge of IPC 1752 material declarations and understand key customer requirements such as Motorola W18, IBM PCDs, BOMcheck, etc.
- Knowledge of Conflict Minerals reporting and support various customers in filling the Conflict Mineral RMI template by reviewing each part number with its Product Drawing.
- Attend Bi-Weekly calls with US or EMEA requestors to update the status of the project.
- Participate in weekly / biweekly compliance system-related calls.
- Prepare monthly reports to capture utilization of the team’s hours and update completion status.
- Awareness of various systems/data repositories, and engineering processes.
- Interact directly with customers / TE affiliates for compliance or conflict Mineral or system-related queries.
- Capability to lead a team of associates for daily operations
- Identify areas of waste and work towards continuous improvement with a high focus on productivity & Quality.
- Initiate projects that have an impact on efficiency improvement and utilization at their best.
