Mobile Healthcare Assistant

**About This Role**:
We have brand new opportunities for Healthcare Assistants to join our PET mobile team in the South of England.

We are ideally seeking individuals with prior experience in a healthcare environment however this is not essential as full training will be provided.

You will be required to meet and greet patients and assist the Radiographers in preparing patients for their diagnostic scan as well as administrative duties for patient bookings so IT proficiency is essential.

You will also be required to IV cannulate patients as part of the role. Rest assured, should you not have any prior experience in IV cannlation, we will provide full training.

To be successful in this role you must have good communication skills both written and verbal, together with good IT and administration skills and a flexible and enthusiastic attitude.

Working as a clinical assistant for PET south mobiles travelling to a number of different sites across the country. **Role and Responsibilities**:
Ideally would require a clinical background with an emphasis on patient care however training will be provided. Willingness to travel and a full UK driving license or equivalent is a must.

The nature of the work in the role is:

- To provide a support service to the PET Mobile services, optimising care standards for all patients, staff and visitors.
- Develop skills in line with Training and developmental opportunities and courses.
- Maintain high standards of Health and Safety in line with current H&S Codes and policies.
- Carry out other work and duties as the workload may require.
