**Key Responsibilities**:
**For Professor**:

- Provide leadership and direction to the Department of Dermatology, overseeing academic programs, research initiatives, and clinical services.
- Develop and deliver high-quality lectures, seminars, and practical sessions to undergraduate and postgraduate students.
- Mentor and supervise junior faculty, residents, and students in research projects and clinical rotations.
- Conduct independent research and publish scholarly articles in reputable medical journals.
- Participate in departmental meetings, committees, and administrative activities as required.
- Provide expert consultation and treatment to patients with dermatological conditions, ensuring compassionate and evidence-based care.

**For Associate Professor**:

- Assist the departmental head in curriculum development, academic planning, and program evaluation.
- Deliver lectures, tutorials, and clinical demonstrations to undergraduate and postgraduate students.
- Supervise and evaluate the academic progress of medical students and residents.
- Engage in research activities, including grant writing, data collection, and manuscript preparation.
- Collaborate with other departments and external stakeholders to promote interdisciplinary research and education.
- Provide clinical care to patients in outpatient clinics, inpatient wards, and specialty clinics as assigned.

**Requirements**:
**For Professor**:

- MD or equivalent degree in Dermatology from a recognized institution.
- Minimum of 10 years of teaching experience in a medical college or university, with at least 5 years at the Associate Professor level.
- Demonstrated leadership skills, academic excellence, and research productivity.
- Active involvement in national or international dermatological societies and conferences.
- Valid medical license to practice as a Dermatologist in India.

**For Associate Professor**:

- MD or equivalent qualification in Dermatology from a recognized institution.
- At least 5 years of teaching experience in Dermatology at the postgraduate level.
- Track record of scholarly contributions, including research publications and conference presentations.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative academic environment.
- Registered with the State Medical Council of Himachal Pradesh.
