Job Description for a DevOps Trainer

About WebAsha Technologies:
WebAsha is a Pune-based IT training institute specializing in hands‑on instructor-led courses in DevOps, cybersecurity, cloud, Linux, and more. They focus on job-oriented training, live project work, and robust placement support for students. Trainers are typically industry professionals with over 10 years of real-world experience and strong recruiting connections with multinational companies.

Role Summary:
As a DevOps Trainer, you’ll lead and deliver structured training programs on essential DevOps methodologies and tools. You’ll design curriculum, conduct live labs, mentor students through capstone projects, and support them toward certification readiness and employment success.

Key Responsibilities:

- Deliver instructor-led sessions (classroom or virtual) covering:
○ Version control: Git ○ CI/CD pipelines: Jenkins, GitLab CI

○ Containerization: Docker, Kubernetes

○ Infrastructure as Code: Ansible, Terraform, Puppet, Chef

○ Cloud deployment basics (AWS/Azure/GCP)

○ Monitoring & logging tools: Prometheus, Grafana, Nagios, Zabbix, ELK stack
- Create and update courseware, labs, assessments, and project scenarios
- Guide students through real-time capstone projects (CI/CD pipelines, cloud automation, container orchestration)
- Provide resume-building, interview prep, and placement support in collaboration with WebAsha’s career services team
- Stay current with DevOps trends and emerging tools to continuously improve curriculum content

Required Qualifications & Skills:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
- 3-7 years of industry experience in DevOps roles or equivalent
- Hands-on expertise with core DevOps tools: Git, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, Terraform
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP)
- Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with ability to explain complex topics in simple, learner-friendly ways
- Experience in conducting technical training, bootcamps, or workshops (preferred)

Preferred Qualifications:

- Professional DevOps or Cloud certifications: e.g. AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, CKA, RHCE, Puppet/Ansible certifications
- Experience using an LMS (Learning Management System) for training delivery and content management
- Familiarity with Agile, DevSecOps practices

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per year
