As a Product Development Merchandiser, you will play a key role in coordinating and overseeing the creation of new products. You will work closely with design teams, suppliers, and production to ensure products are developed according to specifications, budget, and timeline.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Product Development Coordination**: Work with designers and suppliers to bring new products from concept to final sample, ensuring they meet company standards.
- **Sourcing & Materials Management**: Identify and source materials, trims, and components, keeping quality and cost in mind.
- **Cost Negotiation**: Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate prices, ensuring products remain within budget.
- **Timeline Management**: Track and manage product development timelines to ensure timely delivery of samples.
- **Quality Control**: Check product samples for quality, fit, and design accuracy, suggesting improvements if needed.
- **Market & Trend Analysis**: Stay updated with market trends to help inform product design and development.
- **Sample Management**: Handle samples, including organizing and maintaining records of development stages.
- **Communication**: Act as the main point of contact between suppliers, designers, and production teams, ensuring clear communication at all times.

**Key Skills**:

- Strong understanding of product development and merchandising.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Familiarity with fabrics, trims, and garment construction.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising, Product Development, or a related field.
- Previous experience in merchandising or product development (2-3 years preferred).

**Additional Information**:

- This role may involve travel to suppliers or factories.
- Knowledge of design software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator) is a plus.

This role is ideal for someone with a strong passion for fashion and an eye for detail, who enjoys coordinating multiple elements of product development.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
