Egon Zehnder Information and Research Services (KCI) is the global knowledge center of Egon Zehnder. Established in January 2005, it is a wholly owned subsidiary of Egon Zehnder based in Gurgaon.

This global operation has total team strength of more than 300 people, spanning Research, IT, Transcription, Data Management and Quality services. Certain service lines also provide 24 x 7 support.

KCI is very well integrated with the global organization, with more than 90% of the offices working with this team. Given this backdrop, the employee count has grown impressively over the years, to ensure even more comprehensive support services.

The Research team comprises of more than 40 people who provide knowledge management services and other office support, working with Practice Groups and EZ offices worldwide.

**The Global Visual Solutions Team**

The Global Visual Solutions team was started in 2011 to provide professional formatting and presentation finalization capability in the Firm.

Currently, the team has 18 members working across 3 shifts to provide 24/5 coverage to offices worldwide. The team supports consultants, researchers, practice leaders, and partners by providing support across business documents, marketing, and digital communication assets.

The team works on document conversion, brand adherence, and provides design solutions across various mediums and platforms. The team provides brand and template adherence support across all internal and external communication. Additionally, the team works with the global community to create innovative videos, thought papers, newsletters, merchandise and many other custom supports.

**The position**

**Visual Solutions Executive - UIX Designer**

We are looking for a UIX design professional with experience in consulting, developing, and designing comprehensive brand communications. The user experience (UX) designer should be able to understand the business requirements and any technical limitations, as they will be responsible for conceiving and conducting user research, interviews, and surveys, and translating them into sitemaps, user flows, customer journey maps, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes. The UX designer will also be expected to design the overall functionality of the page and ensure a great user experience, iterating upon it in accordance with user testing.

The Visual Solutions Executive will report to the Art Director at Creatives, Visual Solutions Team at KCI.

**Roles and Responsibilities**

**Technical**
- Conducting user research and developing wireframes and task flows based on user needs. Work with clients and partners to define and create storyboards and user journey maps.
- Work with clients and partners to understand and address usability issues.
- Find creative ways to solve UX problems (e.g., usability, findability)
- Communicate design ideas and prototypes in an impactful manner to the stakeholders.

**Ops. Responsibilities**
- Actively prioritize request backlog and coordinate planning with Art Director, Web Developer, and Design Managers using UI best practices across the organization, emphasizing accessibility and usability.
- Help unify the user experience of currently fragmented properties and products.
- Participate in UI demos and sign-off UI deliverables to ensure high quality.
- Work with the technical product managers to ensure that UI deliverables are well-defined and understood in the overall project scope.
- Work with the Design Manager and help develop processes to ensure orderly, predictable execution of deliverables.
- Advocate UI as well as UX research; assist with the planning and execution of usability studies.
- Help define the overall strategy for UI, the roadmap, and the business plan to achieve a best-in-class User Experience.

**Knowledge/ Experience**
- 5+ years of experience in designing web and mobile interfaces or other graphic designs.
- Deep understanding of UI principles, grid systems, frameworks, color theory, and typography.
- Experience in designing and transitioning interfaces from one platform/device to another (Android, iOS Web, etc.).
- Ability to effectively communicate design solutions to key stakeholders in the process to ensure products meet usability standards. Creative thinking with immense attention to visual detail.
- Extensive experience in using UX design best practices to design solutions, and a deep understanding of mobile-first and responsive design.
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, Graphic Design, or a related field is essential.
- Continued education and research into UI trends, current design strategy, and technology.
