We’re seeking a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our team and help craft powerful stories that engage, inform, and inspire. **Job Description**: As a Video Editor, you will be responsible for editing raw footage into polished video pieces that reflect campaign goals, drive engagement, and convey strong political messages. You’ll work closely with strategists, social media managers, and creative teams to develop content for social media, digital ads, and public messaging. Key Responsibilities: Edit video content for political campaigns, advocacy initiatives, and public figures. Create compelling narratives using footage, motion graphics, sound, and music. Cut short-form videos for social platforms (Instagram, X/Twitter, TikTok, YouTube). Add subtitles, animations, and graphics as needed. Maintain consistency with campaign messaging and branding. Work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Stay current on political trends and media formats to produce timely content. **Requirements**: Proven experience as a video editor (portfolio required). Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and other editing tools. Strong storytelling skills with a political lens. Ability to edit quickly and accurately under pressure. Knowledge of current political issues and campaign media strategy is a plus. Experience with motion graphics is a strong advantage.
