**Job Description: Assessment Reviewers for Grades 6-10 (Math & Science)** We are seeking experienced and skilled Assessment Reviewers to review high-quality, standards-aligned assessments for maths and science for grades 6-10. These are contractual positions with an expected duration of 5 months, with the possibility of extension based on business needs. **Key Responsibilities**: - Review 35-40 flawless assessment items per day aligned with Math and Science, ensuring mínimal need for review or editing. - Review diagnostic assessments with clear learning outcomes and objectives, ensuring alignment with Bloom's Taxonomy, Depth of Knowledge (DoK), and the Cognitive Rigor Matrix. - Ensure distractor rationales, hints, and feedback that are pedagogically sound and support student learning and assessment interpretation. - Ensure each assessment item has appropriate difficulty and is cognitively demanding as per the standards, while understanding the difference between cognitive load and item difficulty. - Collaborate with the project team and meet deadlines in a fast-paced work environment. - Review and fix items as needed to ensure all assessment content is error-free and aligned with the required standards. **Requirements**: - 3+ years of experience in creating or reviewing assessment items for educational institutions, ed-tech companies, or related fields. specific experience. - Strong understanding of Bloom's Taxonomy, Depth of Knowledge (DoK), and the Cognitive Rigor Matrix. - Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal, with attention to detail for error-free content. - Ability to work independently from home and produce high-quality work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. - Ability to distinguish between the difficulty of an assessment item and its cognitive load, ensuring appropriate levels of challenge. - Knowledge of effective diagnostic assessments, with the ability to provide insightful feedback and distractor rationales for incorrect answers. **Additional Information**: - Contract Duration: 3-5 months, with potential for extension. - Work Environment: Remote, work-from-home. - Expected Output: Review and fix 35-40 high-quality items per day. considered.
