**About this Team**

The DevOps CI/CD Architect will assess new CI/CD technologies, pilot them, and roll them out onto live projects. This role will be a thought leader with large influence on the DevOps approach for the company. The role combines superior technical knowledge, automation expertise, and development process knowledge to bring about innovative process changes and shifts in work culture.

**What you will be doing**:

- Create and support advanced pipelines in Harness, integrate with testing frameworks and other tools such as SNOW, Splunk, AppDynamics, Dynatrace etc, and support RBAC access model
- Create and support advanced Docker files
- Implement deployments to OpenShift Container Platform
- Troubleshoot containerized builds and deployments
- Implement processes and automations for onboarding teams onto OpenShift
- Script interfaces and integration between SDLC tools such as JIRA, Rally, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Artifactory, Azure DevOps Server (TFS), ServiceNow, OpenShift, Harness, etc.
- Design and implement pipeline jobs to run static code scans, dynamic scans, and automated unit test and functional test suites
- Implement pipeline enhancements to support automated changed management and other compliance requirements
- Implement automated reports and telemetry to monitor pipeline metrics: including builds, deployments, scans, and test runs
- Leads technology projects, researches and applies best practices to processes and procedures as appropriate and evaluates how new technologies, products and techniques can meet future technology needs.
- Consults with management to analyze information technology needs and determine scope, objectives, and priorities of technical projects, technical systems capacity.
- Drives translation of product strategy and business owner expectations into long-range systems projects/plans with priority recommendations.
- Makes development recommendations to business owners based on experience with client expectations and issues. Notifies business owners of potential technical or operational constraints including performance implications.
- Assigns and monitors work of project team providing technical and analytical support and direction. Interfaces with internal stakeholders on technical matters as needed. May manage small projects or sub-projects.
- Directs and provides day-to-day expertise, coaching and leadership to management/supervisory team for areas including information systems design and development, systems planning, programming, architecture, data processing, data security, networks, systems support and/or analysis. Provides leadership for area of responsibility including planning, coaching, recruiting, selection, performance development and mentoring.
- Researches and evaluates new technologies, products and techniques that could meet future technology needs.
- Participates in disaster recovery/business continuity activities as needed.
- Other related duties assigned as needed.

**What you bring**:

- Advanced experience developing CI/CD pipelines in Harness and Jenkins
- Advanced experience using and OpenShift, Docker, and/or Kubernetes
- Experience creating software build scripts for different technologies, e.g. Maven, Java,.Net, npm, Angular, NuGet
- Experience writing automation scripts with scripting utilities such as Python, Groovy, Unix batch shell, PowerShell
- Ability to work independently and within a distributed team environment
- Strong interpersonal, teamwork, problem solving, organizational, and multi-tasking skills
- Comfortable working with a globally diverse set of users, contractors, and partners
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Desire to stay educated on current technology trends
- Technical expertise building integrations between tools such as JIRA, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Artifactory, Azure DevOps Server (TFS), ServiceNow
- Experience writing integration interfaces using REST APIs, Python
- Understanding of agile development practices, including agile scrum methodology, and 12 factor app principles
- Broad knowledge of architecture of enterprise level information technology hardware, e.g., WAN, LAN and computer systems and peripherals and software platforms, basic IT technologies, i.e., operating systems, network devices, software development and architecture
