Scrum Master

Position Overview: The Scrum Master for Product Development will be responsible for facilitating Agile practices within our product teams. This role involves guiding teams through the Scrum framework, ensuring the effective implementation of Agile methodologies, and working closely with Product Owners, stakeholders, and team members to deliver high-quality products. Key Responsibilities: Lead and facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including Daily Standups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives, ensuring they are effective and productive. Mentor and coach team members on Agile principles, Scrum practices, and continuous improvement techniques to enhance team performance and collaboration. Collaborate with Product Owners to maintain a well-defined and prioritized product backlog, ensuring that user stories and tasks are clear and actionable. Proactively identify and address obstacles that may hinder the team’s progress, working to resolve issues swiftly and effectively. Team Dynamics: Foster a positive team environment, encourage open communication, and support team members in their professional growth and development. Act as a liaison between the development team and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment of goals, expectations, and project objectives. Monitor and report on team performance metrics, including velocity, burn-down charts, and other relevant indicators to track progress and identify areas for improvement. Drive the implementation of best practices and innovative solutions, promoting a culture of continuous learning and adaptation within the team. Qualifications: Experience: 6-8 years of experience as a Scrum Master, with a proven track record in product development environments. Certification: Scrum Master certification (e.g., Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM)) preferred. Strong facilitation, coaching, and communication skills, with the ability to manage conflicts and foster a collaborative team environment. Deep understanding of Agile methodologies, Scrum framework, and experience with Agile tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence). Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing complex product development projects.
