**Overview**:
The role of Scrum Master is crucial within our organization as it involves leading and coaching the Scrum team towards successful delivery of high-quality software products. The Scrum Master plays a key role in ensuring that the team follows Agile principles and the Scrum framework to maximize value delivery.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Guiding and coaching the Scrum team on how to use Agile/Scrum practices and values to achieve agreed upon goals and deliverables
- Facilitating Scrum events and other meetings, helping the team to understand their purpose and value
- Removing impediments or guiding the team to remove impediments by finding the right personnel to remove the impediment
- Building a safe and trusting environment where conflicts can be managed in a healthy way without fear of blame
- Coaching the team members in self-organization and cross-functionality
- Helping the team to prioritize their work and support them in achieving their committed sprint goals
- Assessing the Scrum Maturity of the team and coaching the team to higher levels of maturity, at a pace that is sustainable and comfortable for the team and organization
- Guiding the team in the use of iterative methods to regularly inspect and adapt their processes
- Supporting and educating the Product Owner, especially with respect to grooming and maintaining the product backlog
- Enabling close cooperation across all roles and functions and building a culture of collaboration and transparency
- Facilitating discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution within the team
- Assisting with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and radiating information

- Evaluating team processes, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing best practices
- Assisting with team dynamics and understanding team strengths and areas for improvement

**Required Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or relevant field
- Certification as a Scrum Master (CSM) or similar certification
- Proven experience as a Scrum Master or similar role in an Agile environment
- Experience in software development as a team member or leader
- Good knowledge of Agile/Scrum development processes and methodologies
- Strong understanding of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency
- Excellent communication and mentoring skills
- Experience in facilitating discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution within a team
- Ability to mix traditional project management principles with the Agile/Scrum framework
- Knowledge of various well-documented Agile techniques, tools, and methodologies
- Ability to adapt and adopt Agile approaches based on the organizational needs and constraints
- Experience in coaching and mentoring teams to improve Agile delivery practices and mathematics
- Ability to work collaboratively with other Scrum Masters and teams
- Capacity for innovation and handling of ambiguity
- Understanding of engineering practices such as Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, Test-Driven Development, and others
