A car service technician, also known as an automotive service technician or auto mechanic, performs a variety of tasks to keep vehicles in good condition, including:

- **Diagnosing issues**: Use computerized diagnostic equipment to identify problems with the vehicle
- **Planning work**: Use technical manuals, charts, and experience to plan work procedures
- **Performing maintenance**: Perform basic maintenance like oil changes, tire rotations, and checking fluid levels
- **Repairing and replacing parts**: Repair or replace worn parts like brake pads, wheel bearings, and sensors
- **Explaining problems to customers**: Communicate with customers about automotive problems and repairs
- **Keeping vehicles presentable**: Wash and polish the exterior, vacuum and polish the interior, and remove waste
- **Maintaining safe environment**: Follow standards and procedures, comply with traffic and driving regulations, and watch out for pedestrian traffic
- **Keeping track of records**: Compile vehicle records by recording service and repairs
- **Keeping supplies ready**: Inventory stock, place orders, and verify receipts
- **Complying with state requirements**: Test engine, safety, and combustion control standards

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹450,000.00 per month

Expected hours: 28 per week
