**Role Purpose: -**
- Responsible for EHS implementation at all manufacturing Units in Cluster
- Roll out EHS programs across all units in the cluster.
- Support to Cluster Head for compliance to Statutory Requirements as per all applicable law as well as handle any communications etc received from statutory authorities.
- New/ renewable of Consents to be liaised with responsible authorities)
- Ensure tracking of KPIs and its performance for Cluster and support Unit Heads for OAAP and steps to be taken to focus on both leading and lag indicators.
- Focus on ensuring necessary Upgradation Opportunities for ETP/STP i.e., potential schemes for Reduce, Reuse and Recycle as well as ensure effective functioning to continuously comply to applicable statutory provisions and continual improvement.
- Compliance to Requirements related to ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 systems and observations and documentation and drive improvement programs.
- Effective Implementation of Risk Assessment at site and identification of Critical Safety, Health and Environment Risks and put controls in place
- Ensure effectiveness of System for Reporting of incident, investigation and track closer of corrective and preventive action and Horizontal Deployment of Corrective and Preventive Actions.
- Review impact of change on Fire Fighting and ensure integration as part of Project Design.
- Support for Brownfield / Greenfield on EHS Matters
- I) Lead HAZOP/ Risk assessment ii) Sign off on project design on all EHS matters iii) Ensuring the construction/commissioning of the projects done in a safe manner ensuring compliance to permit system and contractor management system.
- Preparation of the Audit schedules for each of the units within the cluster, ensuring compliance to the Audit plan in coordination with HO Team for Periodic Internal and External Audits.
- Drive Audit Action closures coordinating with respective stakeholders in the units/HO.
- Review Emergency Preparedness Plan on a periodic basis.
- Capability building of the Unit Team on EHS matters.

**Critical Qualifications**
- Engineering Degree: Chemical engineer with 10-15 years experience Chemical/Paint industry. Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety from CLI/RLI and/or NEBOSH is a must.
- Should have experience of handling EHS issues, experience of leading a team of EHS professionals.
- Should have good influencing skills, and ability to work as a team of professionals from different functions.
- Should have good Leadership skills, good communication skills, Analytical ability, decision making ability.
