**Job Title: Hostel Warden and Mess In-charge**

Location: R R Institutions, Raja Reddy Layout, Hesarghatta Main Road, Chikkabanavara, Bangalore, Karnataka, India 560090

Type: Residential Basis (On-campus accommodation provided)

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to take on the role of Hostel Warden and Mess In-charge at our prestigious educational institution in Bangalore. As the Hostel Warden and Mess In-charge, you will be responsible for overseeing the smooth operation of our hostel facilities and managing the mess operations to ensure a comfortable and nurturing living environment for our students.

**Responsibilities**:
**Hostel Management**:

- Supervise and monitor the day-to-day activities of the hostel, ensuring the safety, security, and well-being of the students.
- Implement and enforce hostel rules and regulations, fostering a positive and respectful living environment.
- Address student grievances and conflicts in a prompt and supportive manner.
- Coordinate with hostel staff for cleaning, laundry, and maintenance tasks.
- Conduct regular inspections to maintain hygiene and cleanliness standards.

**Student Support**:

- Act as a mentor and counselor for hostel residents, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Organize and participate in hostel events, cultural activities, and recreational programs to promote community engagement and overall student development.
- Encourage a healthy balance between academic responsibilities and extracurricular activities.

**Mess Operations**:

- Oversee the daily functioning of the mess, ensuring timely and hygienic preparation and serving of meals to students and staff.
- Plan nutritious and balanced menus in consultation with nutrition experts and management.
- Supervise mess staff and coordinate their schedules for efficient meal preparation and service.
- Monitor food quality, quantity, and wastage to minimize costs and maintain high-quality standards.
- Address food-related concerns, allergies, and special dietary requirements of students.

**Safety and Hygiene**:

- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in both the hostel and mess areas.
- Regularly inspect kitchen facilities and storage areas for cleanliness and adherence to hygiene standards.
- Educate students and staff about maintaining personal hygiene and cleanliness.

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- A Bachelor's degree in any relevant field is preferred but not mandatory.
- Prior experience in hostel management, student support services, or mess operations is an advantage.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to handle and resolve conflicts and student-related issues effectively.
- Proficiency in the local language and English is desirable.

**Salary**: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
