We are looking for a visionary and hands-on Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead our AI/ML initiatives and drive the company’s technology strategy to new heights.

Job Overview:
As the CTO, you will be responsible for shaping and executing the overall technology vision, with a particular focus on Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. You will work closely with executive leadership, product teams, and engineering to design, implement, and scale our AI-driven solutions. You’ll be a key architect of our technology stack, managing a diverse team of engineers, data scientists, and AI experts, and ensuring that our systems are innovative, reliable, and scalable.

Key Responsibilities:

- Technology Strategy & Vision: Define and drive the long-term technology roadmap with a specific emphasis on AI/ML, ensuring alignment with the business goals and product vision.
- Leadership & Team Development: Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing AI/ML engineering team. Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.
- AI/ML Solution Design: Oversee the design and implementation of AI and machine learning models, ensuring they are scalable, efficient, and integrated with business operations.
- Research & Innovation: Stay at the cutting edge of AI/ML trends, emerging technologies, and methodologies. Lead research and development efforts to explore new AI-driven products or features.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product, data, and business teams to understand their needs, translate them into AI/ML solutions, and drive the successful delivery of projects.
- Scalability & Infrastructure: Ensure the architecture, infrastructure, and data pipelines can scale to meet growing demands. Ensure that systems are secure, reliable, and maintainable.
- Technical Governance: Establish best practices for software engineering, model development, and deployment. Ensure the technology stack is aligned with industry standards for AI/ML.
- Stakeholder Communication: Act as a technical spokesperson for the organization, explaining complex AI/ML concepts to non-technical stakeholders, including investors, clients, and executives.

Key Requirements:

- Experience:

- 10+ years of experience in technology leadership roles, with at least 5 years focused on AI/ML technologies.
- Proven track record of leading AI/ML strategy and execution in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
- Deep Knowledge of AI/ML: Expertise in a wide range of AI/ML techniques (e.g., deep learning, natural language processing, reinforcement learning, computer vision) and a solid understanding of data science principles.
- Technical Leadership: Strong experience in managing and mentoring technical teams, guiding them through complex challenges, and empowering them to deliver innovative solutions.
- Scalable Architecture: In-depth knowledge of cloud infrastructure, distributed systems, and tools such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Product & Business Alignment: Ability to translate business needs into technology solutions, balancing the demands of product features, time to market, and technical excellence.
- Data & Infrastructure Expertise: Experience with data pipelines, big data tools (e.g., Hadoop, Spark), and databases (e.g., NoSQL, relational, graph databases).
- Education: Advanced degree (PhD or Master’s) in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field is preferred.

Desirable Skills:

- Experience in deploying AI/ML models into production at scale.
- Background in leading AI/ML-driven product innovation and commercialization.
- Familiarity with the latest trends in generative AI, large language models (LLMs), or autonomous systems.
- Experience in a startup or high-growth environment.
- Strong understanding of data ethics and AI governance.

- **Bachelor’s Degree**: A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology.
