Chief Technical Officer (CTO) Location: , 12th Floor, Emaar Digital Greens, Tower B, Golf Course Ext Rd, Sector 61, Gurugram, Haryana Experience: 5+ years (including leadership and full-stack experience) Employment Type: Full-time Earthood is seeking an experienced and visionary Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead its technology strategy, innovation roadmap, and digital transformation initiatives for the carbon offset audits. The ideal candidate will combine hands-on technical expertise with strong leadership and strategic thinking to drive technology solutions aligned with the company’s mission and business goals. The CTO will oversee all technical teams, including software development, data management, and digital product innovation — ensuring Earthood remains at the forefront of carbon offset audits and operational excellence.  Responsibilities: •        Leverage Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) models to enhance audit accuracy, anomaly detection, and data-driven decision-making in carbon offset audit assessments. •        Integrate Digital Measurement, Reporting, and Verification (DMRV) systems to automate carbon offsets data verification/validation and reporting processes. •        Develop and execute Earthood’s technology roadmap in alignment with corporate objectives. •        Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable and secure digital platforms. •        Identify and integrate emerging technologies (AI, data analytics, IoT, cloud solutions) to enhance operational efficiency and impact measurement. •        Define and monitor KPIs for technology performance, scalability, and uptime. •        Oversee architecture, code quality, and delivery of all products and platforms. •        Ensure best practices in software engineering, including version control, CI/CD, and secure deployment. •        Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing tech team of developers, DevOps engineers, and data specialists. •        Manage all cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and ensure optimal performance and cost efficiency. •        Implement robust cybersecurity policies, data privacy frameworks, and compliance with industry standards. •        Partner with product, sustainability, and operations teams to translate business challenges into technical solutions. •        Drive digital innovation initiatives, including automation, analytics dashboards, and integration of sustainability tools. •        Contribute to executive decision-making and long-term business planning. •        Build a culture of innovation, learning, and accountability within the technology department.  Required skills & technologies: •      Proven expertise in full-stack technologies including React.js, Node.js (Express.js), PHP Laravel, and MySQL. •      Strong knowledge of cloud computing, DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines. •      Proficiency in RESTful API architecture, MVC patterns, and microservices. •      Familiarity with containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes) and automation frameworks. •      Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills. •      Strategic thinking with the ability to balance hands-on problem-solving and executive-level planning.  Preferred Qualification: •      Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. •      5+ years of technology leadership experience in fast-scaling environments. •      Prior experience in sustainability tech, climate solutions, or data-driven consultancy preferred. •      Experience with AI/ML, data pipelines, and business intelligence tools is a strong plus. •      Track record of building and managing cross-functional global teams.  What we offer? •      Opportunity to shape the technology vision of a mission-driven organization. •      Collaborative, high-growth, and impact-oriented work environment of international teams. •      Competitive compensation and leadership benefits including ESOPs. •      A platform to drive real climate change technological transformation at scale.
