**Job Title: Costing Executive** (Mechanical Engineering)

**Location**:Faridabad, Haryana**

**Job Type**: Full-time

**Experience**: Minimum 2 years in a similar role with a **focus on mechanical engineering.**

**Job Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Product Costing**: Evaluate and calculate the cost of products based on material, labor, overhead, and other associated costs.
- **Cost Estimation**: Prepare accurate cost estimates for new products, prototypes, and projects, considering design specifications, materials, production methods, and time requirements.
- **Cost Analysis**: Conduct detailed cost breakdowns to identify cost-saving opportunities, evaluate variances between estimated and actual costs, and recommend cost optimization strategies.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with the engineering, procurement, and production teams to understand the design and manufacturing processes and align costs with the overall production strategy.
- **Costing Reports**: Develop and maintain cost reports, including variance analysis, for management review and decision-making.
- **Material & Component Costing**: Review and assess the cost impact of different materials, components, and suppliers, advising on the most cost-effective solutions.
- **Budget Management**: Assist in preparing and managing product budgets, tracking cost performance, and ensuring that costs are aligned with the financial objectives of the business.
- **Cost Models**: Develop and maintain costing models to accurately reflect current and future production processes and scenarios.
- **Continuous Improvement**: Recommend and implement improvements to costing systems and processes to increase accuracy, efficiency, and cost competitiveness.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- **Experience**: Minimum of 2 years of experience in costing, pricing, or financial analysis in a mechanical engineering or manufacturing environment.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Certification in Cost Engineering (e.g., AACE International) is a plus.
- Experience with CAD software and product lifecycle management (PLM) tools.
- Understanding of lean manufacturing principles and cost control methods.
