**Roles and Responsibilities**

Formulation and development of Spices and seasoning products.
- New product development and commercialization.
- Developing appropriate lab process keeping in mind the finished good specification and commercial scale up
- Iteration based on data analysis, marketing feedback and consumer research
- Conducting pilot plant trials and preproduction plant trials to streamline the production process
- Conducting shelf life study and sharing the same with cross functional team
- Development of Standard Operating Procedures, Finished Goods specification, Raw Material specification, Hazard risk analysis and Critical Control Point plans.
- Coordinating in vendor development activities as a product specialist.-
- Able to demonstrate a thorough understanding on formulation strategies and processing technologies.
- Trouble shooting plant quality issues as a product specialist.
- Cost saving initiatives based on new cost effective ingredients and processes without compromising the quality of the finished product.
- BOM validation.- Coordinating with finance for project related expenses and strong Influencing skills having managed Commercial, Operations & Finance teams
- Have exposure to process of New Product Approval with FSSAI
- Timely & Appropriate inputs for successfully resolving process / product issues at
- manufacturing locations.
- As required, manage different vendors ensuring the appropriate confidentiality.- BTech / M.Sc. / M.Tech. in Food Technology with Min. 3 - 8 Years of experience in Spices NDP Project / R&D Experience
