**Overview**

**Duties**
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for projects by analyzing labor, materials, and overhead costs.
- Conduct cash flow analysis and forecasting to support project planning.
- Utilize accounting software such as SAP, QuickBooks, Quicken, Sage, or Xero for financial reporting and data management.
- Perform account reconciliation and balance sheet reconciliation to ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
- Analyze financial reports for interpretation of data related to costs, budgets, and forecasts.
- Collaborate with the accounting team on accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Maintain compliance with GAAP and SOX regulations in all financial practices.
- Support corporate accounting functions including payroll processing and general ledger accounting.
- Conduct thorough data collection for accurate financial analysis and reporting.
- Assist in budgeting processes by providing insights based on cost management strategies.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
- Strong knowledge of financial concepts including double entry bookkeeping and technical accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, Quicken) and ERP systems.
- Experience in public accounting or corporate accounting is a plus.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy in all tasks.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing multiple priorities effectively.
