Content Writer and Editor

**Job Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Media & Public Relations**:

- Manage media relations to ensure positive brand representation.
- Write and distribute press releases, articles, and other communication materials to the media in both Kannada and English.
- Build and maintain relationships with media outlets to secure press coverage and opportunities.
- **Window Seat - Monthly Newsletter**:

- write content for the monthly newsletter "Window Seat" in English.
- Collaborate with other teams to gather information, updates, and highlights for inclusion in the newsletter.
- Ensure Smooth distribution and quality presentation of the newsletter.
- **Content Creation & Communications**:

- Write and schedule engaging content for Facebook page management, focusing on the following Associations:

- SKAL
- FOAM
- Heritage Mysuru
- Mediatree
- Visit Mysuru
- **Website/Blog Management**:

- Update and maintain content on company websites and blogs, ensuring information is relevant..
- **Social Media Management**:

- Manage social media platforms such as Instagram and Twitter, creating engaging content and campaigns in both Kannada and English.
- Monitor social media trends and analytics to enhance content reach and engagement.
- **Creative Coordination**:

- Work closely with the Dot Angle team to coordinate creative for different campaigns.
- Assist in the creation of festival-related content and promotional materials.
- Collaborate with the design team for ID cards, visiting card designs, and other marketing collaterals.

**Skills & Qualifications**:

- Experience as a content writer, with a portfolio of previous work.
- Strong knowledge of media and public relations.
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills in both Kannada and English.
- Proficiency in social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.) and website/blog management.
- Basic graphic design skills for the creation of marketing materials (ID cards, visiting cards, etc.) are a plus.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

**Educational Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, or related field.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹13,471.61 - ₹15,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Morning shift
- Rotational shift
- Weekend availability
