**Job Description**:
Position Summary:
This position is responsible for the development of Technical Manuals for Automotive Industry (Diagnostic / Body Repair Manuals). These aspects include developing diagnostic procedures using engineering data. Perform teardown, removal and installation, disassembly and assembly processes to document procedures and hands-on procedures on Automotives.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develops technical documentation based on the level of equity assigned.
- Develop diagnostic procedures using Part 2 Spec, wiring schematics and other engineering data.
- Responsible for delivery of projects which are on time, within budget and accurate
- Knowledge of development of automotive wiring harness documents.
- Hands on experience in illustration tool like adobe illustrator CS2.
- Authors information using various electronic systems, such as ArborText / XMeta, GradeX, Adobe Illustrator, Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Advises project manager of project status and potential issues
- Facilitate Customer Satisfaction by means of adhering to standards, timelines & qualitative output.

Additional Advantage:

- Knowledge on Wiring Harness prints, Schematics.
- Advanced Diploma in Automotive Mechatronics.
- Experience in Automotive Electrical Diagnostic Troubleshooting at Dealership/OEM.
- Hands on experience of vehicle electrical diagnostics

- Ability to multitask and interface with many personalities
- Solid understanding of authoring tools (SGML/XML), Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. DITA and InDesign a plus.
- Enthusiastic and well organized
- Capable of adhering to schedules and raising issues as necessary
- Ability to work with domestic and international business cultures

Education/Experience:
Associates with Mechanical/Automotive Degree. Approximately 2-5 years of related experience preferred. Experience in Automotive Technical Publications & Diagnostic Authoring is plus.
