**Job Description-**

The Store Keeper is responsible for overseeing and managing the inventory, stock levels, and efficient operation of the store in a manufacturing environment. This role ensures the timely availability of materials, compliance with inventory procedures, and maintenance of accurate records to support uninterrupted production processes.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Inventory Management**:

- Receive, inspect, and verify all incoming materials, supplies, and equipment for quality and quantity.
- Record and update inventory levels using the company’s inventory management software or manual logs.
- Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies.
- Ensure proper storage and labeling of materials to maintain easy identification and access.
- Monitor inventory levels and notify the procurement team for timely replenishment.

**Store Operations**:

- Issue raw materials, tools, and supplies to production teams as per requisitions.
- Ensure proper handling, stacking, and arrangement of goods to optimize space and prevent damage.
- Implement and maintain First In, First Out (FIFO) or First Expired, First Out (FEFO) principles for inventory management.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the storage area.
- Monitor and maintain temperature-controlled or hazardous materials (if applicable).

**Documentation and Reporting**:

- Maintain accurate records of stock movements, receipts, and issues.
- Prepare and submit regular inventory reports to management.
- Coordinate with procurement, production, and logistics teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Document damaged, defective, or expired goods and arrange for disposal/replacement as per company policies.

**Compliance and Safety**:

- Adhere to safety standards and ensure compliance with company and regulatory policies.
- Identify and report any safety hazards or irregularities in the store.
- Provide training to junior staff or helpers on proper store-keeping procedures.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- **Education**: High school diploma or equivalent; a degree/diploma in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field is preferred.
- **Experience**: 2-5 years of experience as a storekeeper or in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.

**Technical Skills**:

- Proficiency in inventory management systems (e.g., SAP, Tally, or other ERP software).
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and best practices.

**Soft Skills**:

- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.

**Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)**:

- Accuracy of inventory records.
- Turnaround time for material issuance and receipt.
- Reduction in inventory discrepancies.
- Adherence to safety and compliance standards.

**Work Environment**:
The Store Keeper will primarily work in a warehouse or manufacturing facility and may occasionally be required to work in outdoor or temperature-controlled environments.

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
